Important Tips When Posting:
(Read this BEFORE you start posting)
- As a general rule it's best that you do not mention Tranont when posting on Facebook.... Because then you have people doing google searches and might join with someone else. You always want to make people comment or msg you to get the info so you can send them to the presentation and to YOUR link when they are ready to join. Are there exceptions to this? Of course.
- Posting a corporate graphic on Facebook is not a good strategy because it's just a billboard, advertisement that people will ignore. It's bad marketing that usually will not produce results. What are people being bombarded with everyday? Ads... If your post is just another banner ad it's going to get overlooked and people will scroll right past it.
Do this instead...
- Create curiosity in your posts because that will get more people to comment and build your engagement. = More Leads!
- Facts Tell, Stories Sell.
- Posting an info graphic or stock photo of the product will NOT get good results. People gloss over it because there's no emotional connection or too much info. A picture of you holding the product will always get better engagement. Along with your story talking about it.
- CELEBRATE your wins no matter how small! Talk about the success that you are having even if it is very small at first. When you get your first signup... celebrate! When you get your first promotion... celebrate! When you get paid a commission... celebrate!!
- Talk about the success you and other people are having with our products and the business.
- Remember to tell YOUR STORY so people connect with YOU. It's ok to share results / success stores of others but if that's all you are doing, people will tune it out because they want to see YOUR story.
- Instead of sharing someone's post it's always best to create your own post to build your engagement. FB typical doesn't show a shared post to many people anyway. If you really love someone's post and you want to share it... go for it! But not too often.
- Post selfies! They always get the best engagement. (people love to see happy faces) 😀
- Be Excited when you post because people tend to pay attention more when you are excited about something.
- Ask a question in your post because that will encourage people to comment which grows your engagement.
- Go LIVE because it's a great way to get more people to see you! (dual-lives with someone is also great)
- Do REELS because Facebook puts heavy weight on them and more of your friends will see them.
- Have a call to action in some (not all) of your posts... Telling people to comment or message you for the details.
- When people comment on your post always reply to their comment (tagging them) and say that you will message the info to them or just reply with something that makes sense based on their comment. When you reply to people it will encourage more comments.
- Do NOT post ALL biz... People want to know about your personal life too. Get real and be authentic to connect. It's best to have a good mixture of both business and personal posts.
- Do NOT post too often.... that will lower your reach because FB is not going to show more posts to your friends in a day. ONE post a day is ideal... make it count with high value! The exception is if you are doing a photo / reel / live because they work on different algorithms.
- Do NOT put a link in your post!
- Posting a link on your Facebook profile kills your engagement because Facebook does not want people leaving Facebook, so by default they're going to show your post to less people... FACT.
- Even if you get a few people to click on your link. You don't know who they are... And that is just bad marketing because you don't know who to follow up with.
- Facebook will show your post to more of your friends if you actually get engagement on your post. When you post a link, there's no reason for people to engage therefore your post will not get much visibility at all in the feeds.
- Don't post your link in the comment of your post either... it will still lower your engagement and you don't know who's clicking to connect with them.
- You CAN put a link in your bio.
